The City of Genoa, thanks to the contribution of Fondazione Carige and with the collaboration of Porto Antico, launches the Caruggiadi project, 4 weekends of sports in Genoa.

When
“Caruggiadi” will take place for 4 consecutive weekends in September (21/22 and 28/29) and October (5/6 and 12/13), from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Each sport will be offered to the citizenry free of charge, with reservations required to ensure that they can choose their preferred time slot for their 45-minute round of play.
Caruggiadi – What sports will be available to choose from
It will be possible to choose from 20 disciplines: athletics, badminton, basketball, bocce, soccer, foosball, freestyle soccer, esport, field hockey, jujitsu, karate, orienteering, handball, volleyball, parkour, rugby, fencing, subbuteo, swing, street dance and yoga.
How to register
Online booking will be possible starting Monday, Sept. 2, in the dedicated section on the caruggiadi.it website. During the event, “info points” will be set up in Caricamento Square, which will give the opportunity to book on-site as well.

There will also be no shortage of collateral activities in synergy with the area and the city: within the Caruggiadi there will be the neighborhood Cirulla, an initiative that is gathering more and more enthusiasts to participate in the Molo and Pré districts. On the occasion of Genoa Capital of the Middle Ages, a weekend dedicated to a tournament of medieval games and traveling performances in the different squares.
